NOTE:

• This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
• This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

2.

• Remove the 3 bolts.
• Remove the instrument panel lower trim.

3.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the footwell lamp.

4.

• Disconnect the electrical connector from the accelerator pedal.
• Remove the 2 nuts.
• Remove the accelerator pedal.

INSTALLATION

1.

• Install the accelerator pedal.
• Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

  Torque: 9Nm

• Connect the electrical connector to the accelerator pedal.

2. Connect the electrical connector to the footwell lamp.

3.

• Install the instrument panel lower trim.
• Install and tighten the 3 bolts.

4. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
