REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Make sure that excessive force is not used. Failure to follow this instruction
may result in damage to the
vehicle.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains illustrations for right side components, left
side components are similar.
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the
essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
1.
Remove the loadspace floor trim.
2.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the loadspace lower side trim.
3.
Remove the third row seatbelt anchor nut.
4.
Release the tailgate weatherstrip.
5.
Release the loadspace upper trim panel.
6.
- Remove the coat hanger in the sequence shown.
- Remove the bolt.
7.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the loadspace cover hangers.
8.
Release the loadspace side trim panel.
9.
- Release the 3 clips.
- Remove the D-pillar trim panel.
INSTALLATION
1.
NOTE:
Make sure that the trim is correctly installed to the clips.
- Install the D-pillar trim panel.
- Install the 3 clips.
2. Install the loadspace side trim panel.
3.
- Install the loadspace cover hangers.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 1.7Nm
4.
- Install and tighten the coat hanger bolt.
Torque: 1.7Nm
- Install the coat hanger.
5.
- Install the loadspace upper trim panel.
- Install the 3 clips.
6.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the weatherstrip is not stretched on installation.
Reposition the tailgate weatherstrip into the correct location.
7.
- Reposition the third row seatbelt into the correct location.
- Install and tighten the third row seatbelt anchor nut.
Torque: 40Nm
8. Install the loadspace floor trim.
