REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the
essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
1.
Reposition the front seats.
2. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
3. Remove the windshield.

NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
Remove the B-pillar trim panel.
5.
NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
Remove the C-pillar trim panel.
6.
NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
Remove the D-pillar trim panel.
7.
NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
Remove the sun visor.
8. Remove the overhead console.
9. Remove the interior rear view mirror.

NOTE:
This step requires the aid of another technician.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the 2 sun visor clips.
11.
Remove the 2 access covers.
12.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the center sun visor.

NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other components.
- Release the 2 access covers.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
14.
Remove the trim panel.
15.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the 4 wiring harness clips.
- Disconnect the washer fluid hose.
16.
- Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
- Remove the nut.
- Release the 2 wiring harnesses.
- Disconnect the washer fluid hose.

NOTE:
This step requires the aid of another technician.
- Release the 3 front clips.
- Release the headliner from the 2 alpine windows seals.
- Release the headliner from the rear clip.

NOTE:
This step requires the aid of another technician.
Remove the headliner.
19.
Remove the clip from the roof panel.
20.
NOTE:
- Only do this step if a new component is installed.
- Repeat this step for the other components.
- Release the 4 clips.
- Remove the grab handle.
21.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the front Radio Frequency (RF) receiver.

NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
- Release the voice control microphone.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the voice control microphone.
23.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the Tire Pressure Monitoring System Control Module (TPMSCM).

NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the 4 clips.
- Remove the interior light.
25.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the rear RF receiver.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the Tire Pressure Monitoring System Control Module (TPMSCM).
- Connect the electrical connector.
2.
- Install the front RF receiver.
- Connect the electrical connector to the front RF receiver.
- Install the rear RF receiver.
- Connect the electrical connector to the rear RF receiver.

NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
- Connect the electrical connector to the voice control microphone.
- Install the voice control microphone.
- Install the interior light.
- Connect the electrical connector to the interior light.

NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other components.
Install the grab handle.
5. Install the rear clip to the headliner.

NOTE:
This step requires the aid of another technician.
- Install the headliner assembly.
- Secure the 4 clips.
- Secure the 2 alpine window seals.
7.
- Connect the washer fluid hose.
- Secure the 2 wiring harnesses with the 2 clips.
- Install and tighten the nut.
- Connect the 3 electrical connectors.

- Connect the washer fluid hose.
- Secure the 4 wiring harness clips.
- Connect the electrical connector.

NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other components.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 6Nm
- Secure the access cover.
11.
- Install the 2 sun visor clips.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 4Nm
12.
- Install the center sun visor.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 2Nm
- Install the 2 access covers.
13. Install the interior rear view mirror.
14. Install the overhead console.

Repeat this step for the other side.
Install the sun visor.
16.
NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
Install the D-pillar trim panel.
17.
NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
Remove the C-pillar trim panel.
18.
NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.
Remove the B-pillar trim panel.
19. Install the windshield.
20. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
21. Reposition the front seats.

FRONT ROW SEAT - VEHICLE WITHOUT SEAT MEMORY
A switched power supply from the Rear Junction Box is used to operate the
front row seat switchpacks.
On vehicles without seat memory, the seat switchpacks are connected directly to
the seat adjustment motors.
