REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
2. Remove the second row right seat.
3.
Remove the head restraint.
4.
Remove the 2 bolts.
5.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the left inner cover trim.
6.
Remove the bolt.
7.
Remove the left outer cover trim.
8.
Remove the bolt.
9.
Remove the backrest left cover trim.
10.
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the backrest right cover trim.
11.
Remove the seat switchpack cover trim from the backrest.
12.
- Remove the access cover.
- Remove the backrest cover trim.
13.
Using a suitable tool remove the head restraint guide tubes.
14.
- Release the 17 retainers.
- Release the backrest cover to get access to the hog rings.
15.
- Remove and discard the 13 hog rings.
- Remove the second row seat backrest cover.
INSTALLATION
1.
NOTE:
- Use hog ring pliers to close the hog rings. Do not use any other
tool. The hog rings must be
closed to overlap as illustrated.
- Make sure that new hog rings are installed.

3. Install the 2 head restraint guide tubes.
4.
- Install the backrest cover trim.
- Install the access cover.
5. Install the seat switchpack cover trim.
6.
- Install the backrest right cover trim.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 1Nm
7.
- Install the backrest left cover trim.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 1Nm
8.
- Install the left outer cover trim.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 1Nm
9.
- Install the left inner cover trim.
- Install the 2 left inner cover trim clips into the left outer cover
trim.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 1Nm
10. Install the head restraint.
11. Install the second row right seat.
12. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

FRONT ROW SEAT - VEHICLE WITHOUT SEAT MEMORY
A switched power supply from the Rear Junction Box is used to operate the
front row seat switchpacks.
On vehicles without seat memory, the seat switchpacks are connected directly to
the seat adjustment motors.
