Land Rover Defender: Load carrying

LOAD CARRYING

Never allow passengers to travel in the loadspace under any circumstances. All vehicle occupants should be seated correctly and should wear a seat belt at all times when the vehicle is in motion.

Failure to do so can lead to serious injury or death in the event of an accident.

All items carried in the vehicle should be properly secured. An accident, sudden braking, or change of direction can cause loose items to move. Loose objects in the vehicle can cause serious injury or death.

Do not stand on the checker finishers. The checker finishers are not load-bearing and should not be stood on or used to load the roof. Placing undue load on the checker finishers may damage the vehicle.

LOADSPACE COVER

Never place objects on top of the loadspace cover. During an accident or sudden maneuver, loose objects could cause serious injury or death.

Remove the loadspace cover before moving the seats. Failure to do so may result in damage to the loadspace cover.
