REMOVAL
CAUTION: Brake discs must be renewed in axle sets.
NOTES:
1. Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to activate the Integrated Power Brake assembly mode.

2. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
3. Remove the wheels and tires.
4.
CAUTION: The brake pad wear indicator sensor is easily damaged. Do not use a lever to remove the sensor.
Use fingers only.
NOTE: Left side only.
5.
CAUTION: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang on the brake hose.
NOTE: Discard the bolts.

Remove the brake disc.
INSTALLATION
1.
Clean and inspect the brake disc shield.
Material: Brake Cleaner (3U7J-2C410-AA)
2.
Use brake cleaner fluid to clean the brake disc.
Material: Brake Cleaner (3U7J-2C410-AA)
3.
Renew Part: Brake disc bolt Quantity: 1.
Torque: 10Nm
4.
WARNING: Do not use compressed air to clean brake components. Dust from friction materials can be harmful if inhaled.
Use brake cleaner to clean the brake caliper housing.
Material: Brake Cleaner (3U7J-2C410-AA)
5.
NOTE: This step should only be done when new brake discs are installed.
If new brake discs are installed, install new brake pads.
6.
Renew Part: Brake caliper carrier bolt(s) Quantity: 2.
Torque
7.
NOTE: Left side only.
Install the brake pad wear sensor.
8. Install the wheel and tire.
9. Use the JLR approved diagnostic equipment to deactivate the Integrated Power Brake service mode.

10. Press the brake pedal several times, check the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir and top-up with brake fluid if necessary.
