Land Rover Defender: Front Fog Lamp
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTES:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the
essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains illustrations for right side components, left
side components are similar.
1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3.
- Remove the clip.
- Release the right side undershield.
4.
- Remove the 2 clips.
- Remove the 4 screws.
- Remove the wheel arch liner front section.
5. If vehicle is equipped with the auxiliary cooler, remove the front bumper.
6.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the front fog lamp.
7.
- Remove the 3 screws.
- Remove the front fog lamp.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the front fog lamp.
- Install and tighten the 3 screws.
Torque: 2Nm
- Connect the electrical connector to the front fog lamp.
2. If vehicle is equipped with the auxiliary cooler, install the front
bumper.
3.
- Install the wheel arch liner front section.
- Install and tighten the 4 screws.
- Install the 2 clips.
4.
- Install the clip.
- Reposition the right side undershield.
5. Install the wheel and tire assembly.
