Land Rover Defender: Front Outer Parking Aid Sensor

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTES:

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.

2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.

5. If vehicle is equipped with front auxiliary cooler, remove the front bumper.

Front Outer Parking Aid Sensor

Disconnect the electrical connector from the front outer parking aid sensor.

Front Outer Parking Aid Sensor

Release the 2 clips and remove the front outer parking aid sensor.

INSTALLATION

1.

CAUTIONS:

Check the paint layer of the parking aid sensor.

Before installing the front outer parking aid sensor, check the condition and the position of the ring.

NOTE: Make sure that the sensor is correctly located to the bracket. Audible clicks will be heard to confirm connection.

4. If vehicle is equipped with front auxiliary cooler, install the front bumper.
