Land Rover Defender: Glovebox Lock
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:
- This procedure contains illustrations for left hand drive vehicles,
right hand drive vehicles are similar.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the
essential information is always correct.
1. With the glovebox closed: insert the key and lock the glovebox.

CAUTION:
The key must be kept in the glovebox lock.
- Reposition the glovebox handle to get access to the glovebox lock clip.
- Release the lock clip and remove the glovebox lock.
INSTALLATION
1.
CAUTION:
The key must be kept in the glovebox lock until the lock is fully inserted.
NOTE:
If a new component has been installed, Insert the key into the new lock.
- Press the clip and install the glovebox lock.
2. Unlock the glovebox and remove the key.
