Land Rover Defender: Glovebox Lock

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTE:

1. With the glovebox closed: insert the key and lock the glovebox.

2.

CAUTION: The key must be kept in the glovebox lock.

Glovebox Lock

  1. Reposition the glovebox handle to get access to the glovebox lock clip.
  2. Release the lock clip and remove the glovebox lock.

INSTALLATION

1.

CAUTION: The key must be kept in the glovebox lock until the lock is fully inserted.

NOTE: If a new component has been installed, Insert the key into the new lock.

2. Unlock the glovebox and remove the key.
