Land Rover Defender: In-Vehicle Temperature Sensor
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTES:

1.

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the instrument panel passenger side trim.
2.
CAUTION:
Take extra care not to damage the component.

- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the instrument panel lower surround trim at the 10 clips.

- Disconnect the electrical connector from the in-vehicle temperature
sensor.
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Remove the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
Torque: 1Nm
- Connect the electrical connector to the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
2.
- Install the instrument panel lower surround trim to the 10 clips.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 1.7Nm
3.
- Install the instrument panel passenger side trim.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
Torque: 2.5Nm
