Land Rover Defender: Recirculation Motor
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTES:

right hand drive vehicles are similar.
1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
2. Remove the climate control assembly.

- Release the electrical connector clip from the blower housing.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the recirculation motor.
- Release the wiring harness from the clip.

- Release the wiring harness from the clip.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the pollution sensor.

- Release the clip.
- Remove the blower housing from the climate control assembly as
illustrated.

- Remove the 2 screws.
- Remove the recirculation motor.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the recirculation motor to the blower housing.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
Torque: 1.2Nm
2.
- Install the blower housing to the climate control assembly.
- Secure the clip.
- Install and tighten the screw.
Torque: 1.2Nm
3.
- Connect the electrical connector to the pollution sensor.
- Install the wiring harness to the clip.
4.
- Install the wiring harness to the clip.
- Connect the electrical connector to the recirculation motor.
- Secure the electrical connector clip to the blower housing.
5. Install the climate control assembly.
6. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
