Land Rover Defender: Loadspace Treadplate

LOADSPACE TREADPLATE - PART NUMBER: VPLES0572

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

WARNING: Accessories which are not correctly installed can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to installation. Comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.

NOTE: This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

Loadspace Treadplate

REMOVAL

1.

Loadspace Treadplate

Remove the loadspace floor trim.

2.

Loadspace Treadplate

Use suitable tooling to remove the loadspace treadplate.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts. Retain the bolts (S1).
  2. Release the 4 clips.
  3. Remove the loadspace treadplate. The clips should remain attached to the loadspace treadplate during removal.

Loadspace Treadplate

Make sure the clips at the 4 illustrated locations have all been removed from the vehicle body.

INSTALLATION

1.

Loadspace Treadplate

Install the loadspace treadplate (A). Make sure the illustrated section of the loadspace seal is lipped over the loadspace treadplate.

2.

Loadspace Treadplate

Install the 2 bolts (S1).

3.

Loadspace Treadplate

Make sure the illustrated section of the loadspace seal is lipped over the loadspace treadplate.

4. Install the loadspace floor trim.
