Land Rover Defender: Passenger Door Window Control Switch
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTES:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3.
- Release the 5 clips.
- Remove the access cover.
4.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the interior door handle.
5.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the passenger door
switchpack.
- Release the connector.
- Release the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Remove the 3 screws.
- Remove the passenger door switchpack assembly.
6.
- Remove the screw.
- Remove the passenger door window control switch as illustrated.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the passenger door window control switch.
- Install and tighten the screw.
Torque: 2Nm
2.
- Install the passenger door control switch assembly.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5Nm
- Install the electrical connector.
- Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the passenger door switchpack.
3.
- Install the interior door handle.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 6Nm
4. Install the door handle access cover.
5. Install the front door trim panel.
6. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
