OVERVIEW
The RVMs consist of:
- A door mirror on each front door.
- A RVM or a clear sight RVM on the front area of the roof.
RVM
The RVM is available in 2 different variants, depending on vehicle
specification:
- Manual dimming
- Automatic dimming.

Depending on vehicle specification, the automatic dimming RVM may also
incorporate a HomeLink.
CLEAR SIGHT RVM
The clear sight RVM combines a wide angle camera with a Liquid Crystal
Display (LCD) integrated into an automatic
dimming RVM. The driver is able to see traffic conditions behind the vehicle
through the LCD.
The clear sight RVM has 2 modes:
- Clear sight RVM camera mode (wide angle camera view mode)
- Conventional RVM mode.
In either of the modes, the clear sight RVM has an automatic dimming
function. Light sensors are installed on the front
and rear of the RVM surround case. The sensors control the automatic dimming
feature to reduce glare from the
headlamps of the vehicles behind.
Depending on vehicle specification, the clear sight RVM may also incorporate a
HomeLink.
DOOR MIRRORS
The door mirrors on all models comprises the following features:
- Electrical adjustment
- Electrical heating
- Side repeater lamps.
The left door mirror comprises the Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) sensor.
Depending on vehicle specification the door mirrors may also include the
following:
- Memory recall
- Reverse dipping
- Automatic dimming
- Power fold
- Wade sensors
- Approach lamps
- Proximity cameras
- Warning indicators for Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM).

The RVM consists of RVM glass in a housing that connects to a mounting
