REMOVAL

CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the component.

NOTES:

The following step(s) applies to: Vehicles with air suspension

1. Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment, depressurize air suspension system.

General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment

The following step(s) applies to: Vehicles with fuel fired booster heater

2. Remove the Fuel Fired Booster Heater (FFBH) assembly.

The following step(s) applies to: All vehicles

3. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.

4. Remove the right wheel and tire assembly.

CAUTION: Do not use excessive force to release the height sensor.

Release the height sensor from the right upper control arm.

Remove the 2 nuts.

INSTALLATION

The following step(s) applies to: All vehicles

CAUTION: Nuts must be tightened with vehicle at normal ride height.

Install and tighten the 2 right upper control arm to body nuts.

Torque: 60Nm

3. Install the right wheel and tire assembly.

The following step(s) applies to: Vehicles with fuel fired booster heater

4. Install the FFBH assembly.

The following step(s) applies to: Vehicles with air suspension

5. Use the JLR approved diagnostic system, to pressurize the air suspension.

General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment

6. Use the JLR approved diagnostic system, to calibrate the suspension ride height.
