REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
1.
Release the 2 second row seat cushion retaining clips.
2.
NOTE:
If equipped.
- Reposition the cushion to get access to the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the seat cushion heater
element.
3.
NOTE:
Do not disassemble further if component if removed for access only.
Remove the second row seat cushion.
4.
Use a suitable tool to remove and discard the 30 hog rings.
5.
Use a suitable tool to remove and discard the 24 hog rings.
6.
Remove the second row seat cushion cover.
INSTALLATION
1.
CAUTION:
Use hog ring pliers to close the hog rings. Do not use any other tool. The hog
rings must be closed
as illustrated.
NOTE:
Make sure that new hog rings are installed.
General Equipment: Hog ring pliers
2. Install the second row seat cushion cover.
3.
Install 24 new hog rings in the sequence illustrated
Renew Part: Hog rings Quantity: 24.
4.
Install the 30 new hog rings in the sequence shown.
Renew Part: Hog rings Quantity: 30.
5.
NOTE:
If Equipped.
- Reposition the seat cushion into the correct location.
- Connect the electrical connector to the seat cushion heater element.
6. Install the second row seat cushion.
7. Install the 2 second row seat cushion retaining clips.
