REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
1.
Release the 2 second row seat cushion retaining clips.
2.
- Reposition the cushion to gain access to the electrcial connector.
- Disconnect the seat cushion heater element electrical connector.
3.
Remove the second row seat cushion.
4.
Use a suitable tool to remove and discard the 20 hog rings.
5.
Use a suitable tool to remove and discard the 13 hog rings.
6.
Remove the second row right seat cushion cover.
INSTALLATION
1.
NOTE:
- Use hog ring pliers to close the hog rings. Do not use any other
tool. The hog rings must be
closed to overlap as illustrated.
- Make sure that new hog rings are installed.
General Equipment: Hog ring pliers
2. Install the second row seat cushion cover.
3.
Install the 13 new hog rings in the sequence illustrated.
Renew Part: Hog rings Quantity: 13.
4.
Install the 20 new hog rings in the sequence illustrated.
Renew Part: Hog rings Quantity: 20.
5. Install the second row seat cushion.
6.
- Connect the seat cushion heater element electrical connector.
- Position the seat cushion in the correct location.
7. Install the 2 second row seat cushion retaining clips.
