REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Make sure to protect the paintwork.
NOTES:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the

- This procedure contains illustration showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
1.
- Remove the access cover.
- Remove the screw.
2.
- Release the 6 clips.
- Remove the interior door handle.
3.
- Remove the 11 bolts.
- Release the 8 clips.
- Remove the tailgate trim panel.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the tailgate trim panel.
- Secure the 8 clips.
- Install and tighten the 11 bolts.
Torque: 2.2Nm
2. Install the interior door handle.
3.
- Install and tighten the screw.
- Install the access cover.
