Land Rover Defender: Driver Door Window Control Switch
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTES:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3.
- Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors from the driver door switchpack.
- Release the connector.
- Release the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Remove the 3 screws.
- Remove the driver door switchpack assembly.
4.
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Release the 7 clips.
- Remove the driver door window control switch.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the driver door window control switch into the bracket.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
Torque: 2Nm
2.
- Install the driver door control switch assembly.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5Nm
- Install the electrical connector.
- Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Connect the 3 electrical connectors to the driver door switchpack.
3. Install the front door trim panel.
4. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
