REMOVAL
NOTE:

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
2. Remove the transfer case.
3.
CAUTION:
Care must be taken to avoid damage to the seal running surface.
Use the special tools to remove the seal.
Special Tool(s): 100-012, 100-012-01, 308-375
INSTALLATION
1.
CAUTION:
- Oil seals must be installed dry.
- Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign
material.
Use the special tools to install a new seal.
Special Tool(s): 307-520, JLR-307-520-01
2. Install the transfer case.
3. Check the transmission fluid level.
