Land Rover Defender: Rear Stabilizer Bar
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

NOTE:

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
2. Remove the rear wheels and tires.

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the heatshield.

CAUTION:
Use a wrench on the hexagon provided to prevent the ball joint rotating.
- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Release the 2 rear stabilizer bar links on both sides.
6.
- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the stabilizer bar assembly.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the stabilizer bar assembly.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
Torque: 110Nm
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 110Nm
2.
CAUTION:
Use a wrench on the hexagon provided to prevent the ball joint rotating.
3.
- Install the heatshield.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9Nm
4.
- Secure the exhaust system at the 3 mounting rubbers.
- Remove the transmission jack.
5.
- Install the rear wheels and tires.
