REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL
NOTE:

The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
2. Remove the engine undershield.
The following step(s) applies to:
Right-hand drive vehicles

- Remove and discard the bolt.
- Reposition the steering column shaft.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
4.
Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the engine mount.
5.
Remove and discard the right side engine mount to engine mount bracket nut.
6.
- Position the trolley jack and wooden block below the engine.
- Adjust the trolley jack and wooden block to support the weight of the
engine.

7.
Remove and discard the 4 engine mount bolts.

CAUTION:
Care must be taken to avoid damaging the surrounding components.
Raise the engine off the right engine mount.
9.
Remove the engine mount.
INSTALLATION
The following step(s) applies to:

1. Install the engine mount.

- Lower the engine assembly, make sure the components are correctly
aligned.
- Lower the trolley jack and wooden block away from the engine.

- Reposition the trolley jack and wooden block away from the vehicle.

5. Connect the vacuum pipe to the engine mount.

Never remove the coolant reservoir filler
cap when the engine is hot. Escaping
steam or scalding water could cause
serious personal injury.
Unscrew the filler cap slowly, allowing
the pressure to escape before removing
completely.
Antifreeze is highly flammable. Do not
allow antifreeze to come in
The door window operates with the ignition in either Power Mode 4 (accessory)
or Power Mode 6 (ignition ON). The
door window operates after the ignition is switched OFF, for 5 minutes or until
a door is opened.
