REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:

on the vehicle specification, but the

The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

- Release the 5 clips.
- Remove the access cover.
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with diesel engine
3.

- Release the wiring harness clip.
- Release the electrical connector clip.
- Reposition the engine wiring harness away from the bracket.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles

- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Remove the bracket.
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with diesel engine

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the bolt.
- Reposition the wiring harness away from the left bulkhead panel.
- Release the fuel line clip.
- Reposition the fuel line away from the left bulkhead panel.

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the left bulkhead panel.
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with petrol engine

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the bolt.
- Reposition the wiring harness away from the left bulkhead panel.
- Release the fuel line clip.
- Reposition the fuel line away from the left bulkhead panel.

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Release the fuel line clip.
- Reposition the fuel line away from the left bulkhead panel.
- Remove the left bulkhead panel.
INSTALLATION
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with petrol engine
1.
- Install the left bulkhead panel.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
- Reposition the fuel line into the correct location.
- Install the fuel line clip.
Torque: 5.4Nm
2.
- Reposition the fuel line into the correct location.
- Install the fuel line clip.
- Reposition the wiring harness into the correct location.
- Install and hand tighten the bolt.
Torque: 6Nm
- Connect the electrical connector to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with diesel engine
3.
- Install the left bulkhead panel.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.4Nm
4.
- Reposition the fuel line into the correct location.
- Install the fuel line clip.
- Reposition the wiring harness into the correct location.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 6Nm
- Connect the electrical connector to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
5.
- Install the bracket.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
Torque: 6Nm
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with diesel engine
6.
- Reposition the engine wiring harness into the correct location.
- Install the electrical connector clip into the bracket.
- Install the wiring harness clip into the bracket.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
7.
- Install the access cover.
- Install the 5 clips.
8. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
