OVERVIEW
The interior ambient lighting system uses LEDs only. The interior lighting is
controlled by the BCM/ GWM. The interior
lamps include:
- Approach lamp (quantity 2)
- Instrument panel and console lamp
- Footwell lamp (quantity 2)
- Vanity mirror - Sun visor lamps (quantity 2)
- Front overhead console lamps (quantity 2)
- Loadspace lamp (quantity 2)
- Treadplate illumination (quantity 2)
- Door trim and handle ambience lighting (quantity 4)
- Rear quarter pocket ambience lighting (quantity 2) - 3 doors vehicle
only
- Glovebox lamp
- Rear interior lamps (quantity 2)
- Puddle lamp (quantity 4) - 5 doors vehicle only
- FCIM
- FCIMB (if equipped)
- Front portable media interface panel.
The interior lamps have 2 modes of operation:
- In the automatic mode, the interior lamp functionality is controlled by
the BCM/ GWM on receipt of various input
signals.
- In the manual mode, the interior lamps switch controls the operation of
the interior lamps.
