Land Rover Defender: MHEV Battery Cooling Fan
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
2. Remove the MHEV battery housing air duct.
3.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness clip.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the MHEV battery cooling fan.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the MHEV battery cooling fan.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 3.2Nm
- Install the wiring harness clip.
- Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the MHEV battery housing air duct.
3. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

WARNING:
Make sure the ignition is OFF before carrying out this procedure.
CAUTIONS:
Do not close the canvas roof within 12 hours of installing the canvas
roof frame assembly.
Do not remove the windshield.
Take extra care not to damage any components on removal
